SpookSeek uses your device camera solely as a live viewfinder for gameplay. No photos or video are ever captured, stored, or transmitted. The camera feed stays on your device and is never recorded.
The app reads your device's gyroscope and motion sensors to track phone orientation during hunts. This data is processed locally in real time and is never stored or transmitted anywhere.
Your game progress, scores, and settings are saved locally on your device using standard app storage. This data never leaves your phone and is not sent to any server.
SpookSeek does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage analytics, or device identifiers. We have no servers collecting your data.
We do not share any data with third parties. There are no ads, no tracking pixels, and no analytics services embedded in the app.
If you use the optional Ghost Race multiplayer mode, only your chosen display name and in-game score are shared with other players in your race session. No other data is collected or retained.
